Your privacy is important to us. It is E4 Recruitment’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our website,

- Employment information such as employment history or referee details to provide us background checks
- Financial information including bank details, tax and superannuation forms.
We may also request proof of identification from you including certified original copies of your passport, visa and or driver’s license and will only do so to for the proper performance of our functions and activities as a recruitment agency.
HOW AND WHY DO WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We collect your personal information directly from you when you deal with us or via our online platforms.
We may also collect personal information from third parties including information provided on your behalf with your consent

We collect personal information about you from publicly available sources for inclusion in our records only as is reasonably necessary for the proper performance of our functions and activities as a recruitment agency, and this information is managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.*

HOW IS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION HELD?
We may hold your personal information in either electronic or hard copy form, until it is no longer needed for any purpose for which it may be used or disclosed at which time it will be de-identified or destroyed, provided that it is lawful for us to do so. If you provide information to us electronically, we retain this information in our computer systems and databases.
We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. What data we store, we’ll protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorised access, disclosure, use or modification. HOW LONG IS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION HELD
We retain your personal information for a period of 7 years after the last interaction, or as required by law. After this period, we will de-identify or securely destroy your information in a manner compliant with applicable regulations.

Should you become aware that yours, or any other individual’s Personal Information has been breached or there is unauthorised access of the Personal Information, you must notify a Director immediately. Any failure to comply with this may result in disciplinary action

If you have a dispute regarding an individual’s Personal Information, we both must first attempt to resolve the issue directly between us. If we become aware of any unauthorised access to an individual’s Personal Information, we will inform them and any supervisory authority as required, at the earliest practical opportunity once we have established what was accessed and how it was accessed
If the complaint cannot be resolved by means that we propose in our response, we will suggest that you take your complaint to any recognised external dispute resolution scheme to which we belong or to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
